Saturday, March 1st
Coastline Cares is a service opportunity where we partner with the City of Redondo Beach to provide aid to those in our community. This time, we are cleaning up 5 homes with various projects. After, Joyce has invited volunteers to join her for lunch at her home. Click the link to read more.
Coastline Cares
Deadline: Saturday, March 1st
We will be assembling homeless housing kits on Saturday, March 1st at 9am. The kits will then be assembled for distribution by the City of Redondo Beach. These kits will be given to persons experiencing homelessness and are getting placed into permanent housing. They often have nothing to start their new journey as a housed member of society. Our hope is to make this transition smoother. Click the link to see the list of needed items.
Coastline Lab
Sundays 9-10:30am | beginning March 2nd
Join us as we launch a six-week Sunday morning meeting on the Holy Spirit starting March 2nd from 9-10:30 am in room 310 at St. Andrew's. This is free and open to anyone who is interested in deepening their relationship and understanding of the Holy Spirit. Click the link for more details. We have limited space, so please register.
Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday, March 5th @7pm
Join us for a special mid-week service where we will begin the Lent season. Note we will have a special entrance for this service. Please walk through the lower patio and enter through back glass doors (opposite where we normally enter from) .
Women's Event: Farmers Market
Tuesday, February 25th
Enjoy Wilson Park and wander the Farmers Market together. Grab some breakfast, grocery shop, or go for a walk. These are relaxing mornings to connect with one another. Meet Michelle at 9:30 am in front of the Dee Hardison Sports Center. Plan to stay as little or as long as you want. We just want to have a quick connection for those that can make it.
Women's Events: Beach Stroll
Tuesdays, March 4 & 18th
Join us at 9am for a morning stroll along the shore, where we'll soak up the sun, breathe in the fresh ocean air, and enjoy the calming rhythm of the waves. This is a chance to de-stress, share life updates, and build connections with the women of Coastline. Whether you're looking for a new friend or craving some energizing girl time, our beach walk is for you. Grab a coffee or tea before and join us by the dolphin statue.
Spiritual Retreat
March 15-16th
If you are looking to go deeper in your relationship with God and lean more into listening to the Holy Spirit, then this retreat is designed for you. Tim Keller once said that Romans 8 is one of the heaviest and most challenging passages in all of scripture. It is not that the message is heavy; in fact, the message is incredibly joyful and liberating. But the passage's implication —that there is new life available through the work of the Spirit for us and in us—is profound. So profound that if we grasp it, it would change our lives profoundly, forever.
Join us this January as we kick off our Year in The Spirit with a 9-week study of Romans 8 called Life in the Spirit. If we are to dedicate an entire year to growing in our knowledge and experience of the Holy Spirit, then Romans 8 is a great place to start, mentioning the Holy Spirit 21 different times! We are excited and hopeful to see how this message changes us as a church and helps us grow to truly become Spirit Seeking.
