Week of Prayer and CUP Meeting
August 10-17, and August 19
We are excited to say that we have a date for our meeting with the Planning Commission for the City of Torrance, and it’s earlier than we anticipated!
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 19th at 6:30 pm. The Planning Commission will determine if we can obtain a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to use the property as a church. This is an open meeting that anyone can attend.
In the meantime, we have a call to prayer. We want to dedicate the week of August 10-17, 2026 to prayer as a church. You can join us in 2 ways.

- Pray nightly at 6:30 pm, either at the building site (meet at the parking lot next to the building) or on your own. We will have prayer prompts for you as we get closer, and we will have someone on site at 6:30 pm every night that week; they would love to have you join them!
- Join us in-person for an all-church prayer night on Monday, August 17th at 6:30 pm. Meet at the parking lot next to the building (23840 Madison St.).
Coastline Cares
Saturday, August 8th
Coastline Cares is a ministry where we do basic yard work to help those who struggle to do it on their own because of health, age or other reasons. We have several ways you can help for our next Coastline Cares event on Saturday morning, August 8th. We have five homes that we are going to care for, and we need people helping at the homes, delivering supplies and more. See the link for all the details.

NEW College Ministry
Mondays, 7-9pm
If you’re a college-aged individual, we invite you to check out a brand new college ministry that we’ve launched this summer. Led by Alicea and Reed Manning and hosted at The Hurleys’ house, this group is open to new high school graduates through recent college grads (18-23yrs). They’ll meet Mondays, 7-9 pm, through August 10th. Snacks and drinks provided.
Students
Tuesdays, 6-7:30pm
Low Tide is for all students going into grades 6th-12th this fall. You can expect worship, Bible messages and food (bean & cheese burritos). Bring something to sit on and a jacket. Friends are welcome!

This summer, Michelle Stout is inviting moms of little ones and their littles to gather together on Friday mornings. These backyard play dates are designed for moms to simply “be” together and spend time playing with our littles (with no clean up!). You can expect coffee, snacks for all, a story time, and lots of toy rotations each week.
The ideal age is for littles under the age of 5 yrs old, but siblings are welcome. Because nap schedules vary, feel free to drop in anytime between 9:30-11:30 am with storytime at 10:15 am.

They will meet on Mondays, 7-9 pm, starting June 1st through August 10th. Snacks and drinks provided.
Youth | 6th-12th Grade
We meet weekly on Tuesday night for Rally and our Jr Highers meet on Sundays for Anchor. We offer summer camps and a summer gathering at the beach on Tuesdays. Click to read more:
