Every year our Christmas Eve services intentionally include our Coastline Kids to embrace our value of being "Fully Family". There are two Christmas Eve services this year with slightly different opportunities for Coastline kids to participate at each. Kids are invited to participate in a scripture reading at the 1:00 PM service OR a full nativity scene during the 3:00pm service on Christmas Eve. We'll provide the costumes! If your child is planning to participate please make sure that they arrive to the choir room 30 minutes before the service starts (12:30 pm or 2:30 pm). To help us better plan and prepare, please tell us a bit about who is coming below!

Sunday Mornings

Check-in for Kids Church classes opens at 11:15 AM
From the church parking lot, cross the street and enter into the Kids building directly in front of you. In the  lobby, one of our volunteers will be waiting to greet you and help you check-in! In their classrooms, kids will sings songs, hear a story from the Bible, play some fun games, get creative with crafts, and make new friends!

Curriculum: 
The gospel means good news, and as Christians, it’s all too easy to forget that! That’s why we use The Gospel Project, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study curriculum for preschoolers and kids. We start in Genesis and slowly make our way to Revelation,  helping kids learn the Bible in an age-appropriate way.


Classroom Locations:
Room 305- Nursery (infant to 23 months)
Room 315- 2's & 3's
Room 312- 4's-Kinder
Room 308- 1st-5th Grade


Safety & Security: 
We take child safety very seriously, so here are a few policies we want you to know about:

1)Your child's classroom will have no less than 2 volunteers and at least one adult supervising.  All adult volunteers are criminally background checked and interviewed by the Director of Children's Ministries before they are cleared to serve. No volunteer is ever truly alone with a child.

2) Any adult picking up a child must have the security sticker with the code that matches the child's name tag. If no sticker is presented, we will ask for ID, and/or contact the caregivers listed in our database to verify that person has permission to pickup the child.

3) We will call you out of the service using a paging system that goes straight to the Sanctuary. On the left wall there is a  display that will put up a number. If it matches your child's number, you are to come upstairs to pick them up from their classroom. You may get paged for a variety of reasons (a bathroom accident, sadness, not feeling well, behavior issue, etc.).

A midweek Ministry for Kids

on Thursdays  from 6:15-8:15pm  

Kids Crew is a free discipleship ministry for kids ages 3 1/2 years old to 5th Grade. "Crew" begins on September 11th, 2025 and ends on May 21st, 2025. Kids Crew meets on weeks that Coastline Community Groups/ Men & Women's Events are scheduled, which means most of the time we will have 3 weeks on, and one week off throughout the year, with a longer break for winter and spring break.  

Dinner will be provided each week! If your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out and let us know. We are going to do our best to have a rotation of kid-friendly meals!

*all children must be potty-trained to attend Kids Crew.

Being “fully family” is one of our core values at Coastline, which is why we regularly perform child dedications at church. Child Dedication is a way for parents to publicly share their commitment to raising their kids to know and love Jesus, and for the church to commit to praying for and supporting the family as they do so.
