Singing is Not a Suggestion: Worshiping Through Music

That quote is the thesis of this week’s episode of How to Worship, where Hunter and Michael spend most of the time talking about worship music and Scripture’s command to sing. They also discuss some of the thorny and challenging lyrics in some of our worship songs, the role that emotions play in our worship, and the importance of singing together in a church setting.

This episode is the best of both worlds: not only do we get to hear a lot of the theological reasons for worshipping through music, but we also get to hear a lot about Michael’s process and his mentality as he chooses worship sets for church.
