James warns us that success can quietly make us forget our dependence on God: we make plans, build lives, and chase security as if tomorrow belongs to us. But life is a mist, Christ is near, and wisdom begins when we learn to plan, work, and wait with our eyes fixed on him.
Coastline Covenant is a young church in Redondo Beach, CA which launched in 2021. We meet at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian on Sundays at 11:30am.
