Rally is our Tuesday Night discipleship program, open to all 6-12th grade students in the South Bay. We meet each Tuesday at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (301 Avenue D, Redondo Beach, CA 90277) from 6:30-8:30pm.
The idea for Rally comes from Psalm 118:24 where the Psalmist invites God's people to rejoice in what God is doing each and every day. For us, this means that we rally in celebration of what God is doing and we rally around one another, no matter what. Each week when we come to Rally you can expect to hear from God's word, spend time in small groups, and have a lot of fun with high energy games and activities. Hear from God’s Word: at Rally, spiritual education and biblical teaching are the highest priorities. That’s why each week, students will have an opportunity to open their Bibles and engage with Scripture during sermons, discussions, and self-guided spiritual activities that our staff have crafted for them.
Small Groups: relationships and community are key to developing a relationship with God, which is why we focus on putting your student in a small group made up of peers that are the same gender and similar grades (6-8th / 9-12th). Groups will be led by a vetted and trained mentor. These mentors will be in your student’s life each Tuesday, but they are also eager to attend games, plays, and other things that your student is involved in, as well as host hangouts and events for the group outside of Tuesday nights. Your student’s mentor will periodically reach out about everything from group activities to ways you can help.
High Energy: we believe that youth group should be fun, and at Rally… we bring the fun with games, crafts, and great activities that allow students to be themselves and laugh alongside their peers.
All South Bay Junior High and High School students are welcome to register year round. By registering you help us organize small groups and communicate well with families. The cost is $30 for the year. The $30 helps offset the cost of food and supplies. (We have scholarships available!)
