UPDATE [August 5, 2026]: We have more good news this week!
Early indications are that the Torrance Planning Department is in support of granting us a Conditional Use Permit. This group gives its recommendation to the Planning Commission, which makes the final decision. This is great news for us, as things look positive as we head into the Planning Commission meeting on August 19th. All are invited to join us at this meeting with the Planning Commission.

- Pray nightly at 6:30 pm, either at the building site (meet at the parking lot next to the building) or on your own. We will have someone on site at 6:30 pm every night that week; they would love to have you join them!
- Join us in-person for an all-church prayer night on Monday, August 17th at 6:30 pm. Meet at the parking lot next to the building (23840 Madison St.).

UPDATE [July 23, 2026]: We are excited to say that we have a date for our meeting with the Planning Commission for the City of Torrance, and it’s earlier than we anticipated!
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 19th at 6:30 pm. The Planning Commission will determine if we can obtain a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to use the property as a church. This is an open meeting that anyone can attend. We will send another email in two weeks with more detailed information about how you can participate.
In the meantime, we have a call to prayer. We want to dedicate the week leading up to the meeting to prayer. Let’s be in prayer together that the city is favorable, and 23840 Madison St. can be our new church home!
UPDATE [May 27, 2026]: We had an exciting business meeting, where the overwhelming majority (96%!), voted to move forward with the purchase of a church building on Madison St. in Torrance! We are excited and ask you to continue to pray for favor in the city as we work toward securing a conditional use permit (CUP), as this is our last hurdle. You can expect more updates early this fall.
